Security Officer - Unarmed Cycle Rover

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Cycle Rover in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will engage with employees, residents, and visitors through strong customer service and clear communication, reporting observations and concerns as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned areas, including interior spaces and exterior perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and/or common areas for unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized access by observing, greeting, and redirecting individuals as needed.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns in written reports and logs, and report hazards or suspicious conditions per site protocol.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to ride a bike.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be able to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
