Paid Search Specialist

Motorola Mobility is looking for a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist, who will be responsible for the creation and management of paid search. This role will own the end to end search strategy, including briefs, reporting and optimizations, staying on top of the latest trends and product updates, and supporting the launch of new devices. Other responsibilities include ad copy creation, keyword strategy and bidding for Performance Max and text ads.

Responsibilities

• Daily active management of paid search and shopping platforms including Google Ads and Amazon Shopping

• Demonstrated ability to generate keyword targets including expansion on current strategy and improved organization of current paid search campaigns

• Ideation and generation of paid search ad copy

• Implementation of paid search ad copy testing

• Weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting to demonstrate results and track performance over time

• Analysis of paid search trends through Google Analytics, search platform reports and third-party tools

• Ensure the health of the campaigns, spending budgets in full, while exceeding business KPIs

• Manage campaign budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize performance

• Work closely with media teams to provide insights and recommendations that align with, or enhance, business strategy

• Research of competitive paid search landscape

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing search strategies (preferred in Google platforms for both search & shopping)

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Economics, Marketing, Finance or a quantitative field

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends

• Experience working in SA360 or other bid management platforms

• Experience working in Amazon Ads

• Experience working in other media platforms (e.g. social and programmatic) is a plus

• Experience working in Walmart Advertising is a plus
