What You'll Do
* Direct and coordinate nursing operations and staffing activities within the PACU
* Support and mentor nursing and support staff through coaching, development, and ongoing feedback
* Lead onboarding, training, and educational initiatives to support team success
* Foster a positive and psychologically safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
* Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary hospital teams to ensure seamless patient care
* Develop and implement staffing plans that balance operational needs with team wellbeing
* Help drive engagement, accountability, communication, and culture across the department
* Serve as a visible and approachable leader who supports staff through both everyday operations and high-pressure situations
* Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, quality outcomes, and clinical excellence

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
  • Master's degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field is required

Licensure & Certifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • ACLS preferred
  • BLS preferred

Experience

  • 2-3 years of nursing experience required
  • 2-3 years of nursing leadership experience preferred
  • Current PACU experience preferred
