Title:Corporate Counsel Corporate counsel provides advice and legal services to the officers, management and operating personnel of the affiliates of TECO Holdings, Inc. and its affiliates (primarily Tampa Electric Company and Peoples Gas System) in connection with all aspects of both routine and complex business transactions, particularly with respect to wide variety of technology agreements, general procurement contracts, and related matters PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION Required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited United States college or university in accordance with TECO Holdings education policy. Licenses/Certifications Required: Must be a member in good standing of a state bar and be willing to seek admission to the Florida Bar. Experience Required: A minimum of 3 years legal experience. Preferred: 5 years of legal experience in commercial transactions with a focus on technology agreements.
