POSITION OVERVIEW:

The primary function of this role is to serve as the frontline sales interface to international customers regarding requests for quotations, technical product inquiries, and general sales inquiries. This function also works closely with Engineering to evaluate and respond to technical requirements, and with Operations to provide existing sales order status updates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serving as the sole sales interface to all international customers for the K&L Microwave brand
  • Following up on customer leads
  • Creating quotations for customers
  • Managing accounts and opportunities in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Supporting customer meetings at the Salisbury, MD factory
  • Applying expertise in export compliance to ensure compliant customer engagements
  • Providing frontline RF & microwave filter technical expertise
  • Interfacing with Engineering for in-depth technical evaluations
  • Understanding part topologies to support accurate quoting
  • Creating part numbers in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Coordinating with Operations to ensure production updates are communicated to customers in response to open-order status requests
  • Supporting Contracts with Purchase Order and Return Material Authorization (RMA) processing
  • Coordinating customer order expedite requests

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
  • 3-5 years' sales experience
  • Clear and neutral Verbal and Written communication skills
  • Experience in creating product quotations
  • Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
  • Must meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems with a moderate-to-high degree of complexity
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including effectively working with different cultures and individuals who are not native English speakers
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite products (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Expertise in US export compliance law, including ITAR, EAR99, and commercial
  • Ability to effectively plan and manage dozens of unique opportunities at once
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contracts, technical procedures, and governmental documents
  • Ability to learn and operate effectively in CRM and ERP applications
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pace environment

Work Arrangement : Hybrid

Pay Range: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually
