The opportunity

The Senior Associate Dean of Global Initiatives provides strategic leadership and oversight for SNHU's international academic portfolio. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Initiatives, you will partner with the Global Campus (GC) and University College (UC) Deans steward a diverse portfolio of international degree and non-degree programs spanning multiple disciplines and subject areas. You will report to our VP of Global Initiatives in this remote role.

What you'll do:

  • Provide academic leadership of Global Initiatives international programs, ensuring curriculum quality, relevance, and delivery across diverse cultural and geographic contexts.
  • Maintain successful programs and curriculum through oversight of the processes and related artifacts, ensuring efficient curriculum delivery and curriculum relevancy.
  • Collaborate with Deans, Vice President of Global Initiatives, department leaders, and cross-unit partners to align international programs with university goals, policies, and academic standards.
  • Support accreditation, academic governance, and compliance processes for international offerings, ensuring institutional integrity and regulatory alignment.
  • Strengthen operational effectiveness by working with our teams and global partners to support student success, partner performance, and program sustainability.
  • Recruit, onboard, evaluate, and develop faculty and subject matter experts to ensure quality of instruction and academic rigor across disciplines.
  • Foster faculty professional development, collaboration, and a engaged community culture of continuous improvement.
  • Promote collaboration across our teams and external partner networks to support clarity, responsiveness, and operational coordination in global environments.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of learning models and systems that enhance access, affordability, and speed to degree completion for international learners.
  • Attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential functions of this role.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of high-level business or academic leadership experience.
  • Master degree is required; Doctoral degree preferred
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating across departments and stakeholder groups, including external partners, to achieve shared goals.
  • Experience using academic, learning, or operational systems and established processes to support instructional quality and learner success.
  • Proven experience conveying expectations, guidance, and direction to varied audiences through written and verbal channels.
  • Experience using data, metrics, and evidence to inform decisions, address issues, and improve outcomes.

Compensation

The annual pay range for this position is $94,130.00 - $150,634.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $104,012.00 - $140,723.00.
