  • Hourly Rate: $20.00
  • Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 PM
  • 3 Team Building / Volunteer Events


    • Date to be determined - Dinner with Executives
    • July 14th - Cooking at Orangewood Foundation
    • July 28th - Angels Game in Company Suite




Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. (TABS) has an excellent opportunity for a Human Resources Compensation internship from June 15, 2026 to August 7, 2026, working Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm) at our Lake Forest, CA headquarters. The internship will include a team building/volunteering event over 3 different evenings within the program.

Summary:

The Human Resources Intern position is a temporary entry level role focused on processes, systems and controls and will learn HR departmental operations at TABS under close guidance and support. This role will provide a hands-on learning opportunity in HR within Compensation, Benefits, Recruitment, Employee Relations, and Learning & Development. Under immediate supervision, the Intern shall complete a variety of routine tasks in support of the goals and needs of the Department.

Responsibilities:



  • Work closely under the guidance of Department Management and staff to provide project support within Human Resources including but not limited to entry level departmental tasks as indicated below:


    • Electronic File Management Projects
    • Activities/Analytics using Excel Spreadsheets
    • Job Description Basics and Data Audits
    • Departmental Report Generation and Interpretation
    • Exposure to HR Compliance Misc.
    • Misc Data Entry


  • Learn about departmental processes and procedures along with corresponding controls.
  • Under management guidance, support entry level activities.
  • Work closely with management or more senior staff to learn how to generate and review departmental reporting (scheduled and ad-hoc).
  • Assist with special projects as instructed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • Sophomore, junior, or senior level undergraduate student, or graduate student, attending an accredited college in good standing or recent graduate (within six months) of an accredited college.
  • Pursuing a Business Degree, Social Science or related degree, with closely related major (Human Resources).
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated initiative. Detailed oriented and proficient with computers (including exposure to Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
