Overview

NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for a Communications Specialist to join NaphCare's Marketing & Communications team at our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL. The Communications Specialist works with the Marketing & Communications team to execute strategic internal and external communications in alignment with NaphCare's business goals.

Responsibilities:

    Create and execute internal communications campaigns to engage and motivate corporate and remote field employees
  • Create content for web and social channels, including blog posts and some video production
  • Create corporate collateral for print and digital use
  • Support media response and public relations in multiple local markets
  • Media monitoring - evaluate industry environment and trends to identify target market opportunities and positioning

Job Requirements / Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field
  • 1 to 3 years of communications experience, preferably in healthcare and/or with a government contractor
  • Strong background in writing and digital content development
  • Insights-driven problem solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe applications
  • Highly motivated and willingness to collaborate with a team
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proactive, innovative and passionate
