| Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
The Belk College of Business at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for a full-time Lecturer (non-tenure track) Faculty position in the Department of Management. This is a nine-month faculty appointment starting Fall 2026. Initial appointment is for 2 years with an opportunity for renewal.
This position is focused on teaching excellence educating a diverse population of students while building a supportive, culturally diverse environment in the classroom. The expected teaching load is four courses per semester (fall and spring), and may include large classes (65-100 students), and delivery methods of face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online delivery using a course management system. Primary teaching responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate level in the areas of Management, such as International Business, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Business Ethics, and/or Strategic Management. Experience in these areas is considered relevant and desirable.
The position additionally includes service responsibilities such as contributing to assessment of student learning outcomes, student advising, other student-centered activities, and faculty governance and committee service to support the mission and priorities of the department, college, and university.

UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the earned masters and/or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline. |
| Preferred Education, Skills and Experience |
The successful candidate will have earned a master's degree or higher in Management or a related field. Previous teaching experience of business courses at the university level is required. Preferred candidates will have a successful record of prior professional business experience, leadership responsibilities, and prior course delivery experience in all modalities, including face-to-face at our Charlotte campuses, online synchronous and asynchronous, as well hybrid courses. |
