Add to Favorite Jobs Email this Job The Department of Cell & Developmental Biology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time tenure track Investigator at the rank of assistant professor, associate professor or professor. The successful candidate will be expected to build a competitive program in cell and developmental biology, mentor and teach graduate students, medical students and/or post-doctoral fellows and contribute to the goals and advancement of the Department and School. Qualified candidates performing interdisciplinary and quantitative research, utilizing innovative techniques to investigate fundamental issues of related to development and disease should apply. Applicants should have an outstanding record of research that adds to existing departmental strengths. The successful applicant also will have the opportunity to participate in graduate and medical education. Candidates are expected to hold a PhD, MD/PhD or MD degree, significant research experience, and evidence of extramural funding. A track record of outstanding past research productivity, collaborative nature, and a clear plan for establishing a robust and cutting-edge future research will be essential. Salary is commensurate with experience. The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled. Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
