Overview

Deutsche Bank has an ambitious growth plan for the FIC business in the US. You will help drive the derivatives business for Deutsche Bank's client base in New York, partnering closely with the client coverage teams, Rates trading teams and other contacts to identify, originate, structure, and deliver new transaction opportunities to our US-based clients. You will be responsible for executing strategic initiatives to develop the product suite and client base. Rates Structuring relies on global coordination and information sharing and we rely on you to communicate and coordinate with the Global Rates Structuring team.

What You'll Do

  • Develop bespoke derivative hedging solutions for our clients
  • Actively engage with client coverage teams, rates trading and other contacts to identify, originate, and develop new transaction opportunities with the US client base
  • Support coverage with the production of content, ideas, marketing and direct client interactions and negotiations
  • Review the applicable regulatory context for transactions, either on the client side or the internal DB side, for optimization of the solutions
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory bodies, as well as follow DB internal policies for internal review and approvals for transactions

Skills You'll Need

  • You will be a problem solver who is able to use their knowledge to identify new clients/transactions, find constructive solutions to them and who will proactively originate new business
  • Broad structuring experience, strong technical background with experience in leading and closing Rates trades transactions
  • Ability to work independently, and execute strategic initiatives to develop the product suite and client base
  • Ability to effectively manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to form strong working relationships

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $180K to $250K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
