The EMR Intern will support the EMR Analyst team by assisting with training preparation, data organization, basic system reviews, and documentation. This role is designed for students or early-career individuals looking to gain hands-on exposure to healthcare IT, electronic medical records (EMR), and digital health operations. The intern will work closely with senior analysts to learn processes, contribute to light project tasks, and support internal teams with administrative and analytical assignments. Key Responsibilities * Assist in preparing training materials, presentations, and documentation. * Support internal teams by organizing data, maintaining spreadsheets, and tracking project information in Excel. * Participate in basic customer engagement activities such as observing training calls and assisting with follow-up tasks. * Help maintain centralized tracking logs for training sessions, documentation updates, and project progress. * Assist in creating simple dashboards or visualizations using Excel charts. * Collaborate with EMR Analysts to gather data for internal process improvement initiatives. * Support the development, editing, and formatting of user guides and job aids. * Perform basic quality checks on training materials or system screenshots for clarity and correctness. * Help schedule meetings, take notes, and organize team documents. Skills & Qualifications * Current student in Health Informatics, Public Health, IT, or related field in a Bachelor's program. * Basic understanding of healthcare workflows is preferred but not required. * Strong Excel skills including sorting, filtering, formatting, and basic chart creation. * Comfortable learning new software tools and systems. * Strong communication and organizational skills. * Ability to manage multiple small tasks with attention to detail. Additional Information This internship is designed to provide exposure to EMR systems and healthcare IT operations. The intern will receive mentorship from senior analysts and will have opportunities to observe real-world training and system workflows.
