Software Engineer - Intern

This role will be expected to design, develop, deliver testable, maintainable code to support our many ongoing initiatives. Additionally, this role will be responsible for participating in design discussions, code review, and communicating with internal stakeholders including mentors, product managers, quality assurance, security team.

Required Qualifications

* Must be enrolled in a Master's program.
* Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design
* Computer Science fundamentals in data structures
* Knowledge of modern programming language such as Java, Python
* Knowledge of frameworks like Spring and Angular
* Knowledge in database design and development using SQL Server
* Good understanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures, algorithms and experience with large datasets

Preferred Qualifications

* Knowledge of health IT domain including interoperability standards, CCDA, HL7
* Experience in Agile/SCRUM enterprise-scale software development
* Familiar with building secure software using modern security principles
* Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment
*Strong fluency with Jupyter notebooks, Python and Python3 experience preferred

Compensation:

Hourly Rate Range - $23 - $25 USD.
