Responsibilities
Therapist/Social Worker Diamond Grove Center is searching for an experienced Therapist/Social Worker to join our MYPAC (outpatient) office in Starkville, Miss. This position will be fulltime, with hours of 8:00am-5:00pm Monday thru Friday weekends off, on call at all times. Therapist will provide essential components of the overall treatment program through various interventions and modalities. Diamond Grove Center is an 85 bed, behavioral psychiatric hospital locatedin the beautiful neighborhood of Louisville, Miss. Diamond Grove Center features individual units for children, adolescents, and offers inpatient care acute care, as well as residential treatment for adolescents. Onaverage1000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Diamond Grove Center Hospital. Assures completion of all needed assessments within 24 hours of contact with evidence by chart notation. Conducts individual, family and group therapy education sessions. Conducts and records behavioral assessments of each patient as outlined by the treatment plan evidence by progress notes. Establish and maintain working relationships with referral sources/ or community. Documents treatment plans showing ability to intervene using techniques specific for age and developmental levels, assures treatment plan is reviewed with parents/guardian in a timely manner at least 1X monthly. Qualifications Qualifications Master's degrees in a Clinical Psychology or Behavioral Health field from an accredited school. - Two (2) years' experience (internship may be included) in a psychiatric or clinical setting. - Two (2) years' experience working with child/adolescent population. Must be eligible to qualify for CPI and CPR certification Demonstrates leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. | |
