Description

Under the general direction of HR leadership, the Position Management Specialist serves as an operational contributor within the UCLA Health Human Resources Service Center, supporting high-volume, complex HR functions across the employee lifecycle.

In this role, you will be responsible for processing and auditing HR transactions, managing employee and departmental inquiries, maintaining accurate and compliant HR records, and ensuring audit readiness across HR systems. You will utilize UCPath, ServiceNow, Avature, Salesforce, RASC interfaces, and related HR systems to ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and timely service delivery. You will work closely with HR Service Center teams, Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, and Compliance to resolve issues, improve processes, and enhance the overall employee experience.

Salary Range: $31.51 to $62.64 Hourly

Qualifications

Required Qualifications




  • Minimum of 2-3 years of progressively responsible experience in HR operations, HR shared services, HR workforce administration, HR position management, HR benefits, or HR employee services



  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex information



  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills in a high-volume, fast-paced environment



  • Ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet service level agreements (SLAs)



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint




Preferred Qualifications


  • Working knowledge of UCPath/PeopleSoft, ServiceNow, and HR case management systems

  • Knowledge of UC policies, procedures, collective bargaining agreements, and HR compliance requirements



  • Ability to accurately process and audit HR transactions with strong attention to detail



  • Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis and resolve complex data or process issues
