The Opportunity:

The Division of Student Success and Well-Being (SSWB) is seeking a Training Specialist II to join the Student Success Technology team, which provides training and end-user support for technologies used within the Academic Success Coaching model, across SSWB, and campus-wide. The Training Specialist II will provide primary user support for the academic planner (Pegasus Path) and new user on-boarding and training for the EAB Navigate360 CRM (myKnight STAR).

This position/classification may be moved at management's discretion within the SSWB division to a commensurate level position as determined by the Vice President of Student Success and Well-Being or his/her designee.

Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and deliver training to support end-users for various technologies, including the development of manuals, job aids, videos, and asynchronous learning modules.

  • Serve as an application administrator for the EAB/myKnight STAR staff site site (Navigate360), including the administration of system configurations and processing of internal and external call tickets.

  • Collaborate with the Academic Success Coaching community to develop business processes, documentation, and training to support campus technologies such EAB/myKnight STAR and the academic planner.

  • Perform needs assessments, evaluate training effectiveness, and generate unit reports.

  • Participate in on-going training with EAB and other vendor technologies to develop necessary competencies to support end-users.

  • Other duties as assigned in support of special projects, initiatives, and committees.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Proven ability to design, develop, and facilitate effective training programs, workshops, and instructional materials.

  • Hands-on experience creating engaging instructional content within Learning Management Systems (LMS) and elearning software.

  • Experience using or administering CRM platforms.

  • Proficiency using multimedia production and video editing software to create high-quality digital content.

  • Background in academic advising, student coaching, or professional experience within a higher education environment.


The most successful candidates may possess the following qualities:


  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation experience.

  • Excellent organizational skills and high level of attention to detail.

Special Instructions to the Applicants:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $56,030 - $62,334. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
