Job Description

As a Field Service Specialist , you will be the advanced, hands-on technical expert supporting Sealed Air Cryovac packaging equipment at customer production facilities throughout your territory.You will troubleshoot complex mechanical and electromechanical issues, lead equipment installations, and optimize performance on high-speed packaging systems. This role is field-based and highly independent , you will own your territory and ensure customer equipment runs safely, efficiently, and reliably.This is not a bench role. This is a boots-on-the-floor, tool-in-hand position.

Responsabilities

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on industrial packaging equipment.
  • Lead equipment installations, start-ups, commissioning, and system validations.
  • Diagnose recurring mechanical and electrical issues and implement long-term corrective actions.
  • Optimize equipment performance to reduce downtime and improve production efficiency.
  • Support equipment upgrades, material conversions, and process improvements.
  • Conduct equipment audits and provide technical recommendations.
  • Train operators and maintenance teams on proper equipment operation and safety.
  • Complete detailed service documentation and maintain accurate CRM reporting.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong mechanical and electromechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working with industrial production or packaging equipment
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance and equipment diagnostics
  • Root cause analysis capability
  • Equipment installation and commissioning experienceIndustrial electrical troubleshooting fundamentals
  • Proficiency with service reporting systems and CRM tools
  • Ability to travel extensively within assigned territoryValid U.S. Driver's License
