Job Scope

This position leads a team of five Commercial Lab Account Executives and to meet or exceed Diasorin sales objectives within assigned accounts. The Commercial Lab Director will coach the team in protecting and growing the existing base of business, along with adding new commercial lab customers.

***Position supports the Western, US territory and is eligible to be remote. Candidate needs to live in the territory.***

Job Responsibilities



  • Lead the commercial lab team which is tasked with protecting and growing business within the commercial laboratory segment, along with adding new commercial lab customers within both our Immunodiagnostics & Molecular Diagnostics portfolios.
  • Create and implement customer-specific sales strategies to achieve sales targets and new customer installations.
  • Drive utilization of the CRM across the team and analyze performance metrics.
  • Maintain a high performing sales culture through continuous coaching and performance management.
  • Negotiate contract renewals with existing customers and new customer agreements.
  • Develop and sustain key customer relationships.
  • Work with local support teams to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit Commercial Lab Account Executives and create personal development plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership in the creation and execution of broad sales strategy.
  • Manage day to day activities of the team, budget, and travel and expense reporting.



Education, Experience and Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in business or healthcare related field required


  • 10+ Years in healthcare in a commercial sales, national accounts or business development capacity required
  • 5+ Years of successful commercial team leadership required


  • Deep familiarity with the commercial laboratory landscape and the executive level leadership
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory financials, including test reimbursement models
  • Strategic selling and complex selling skills

The hiring range for this position is $153,313 - $191,641 annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. Beyond base salary, Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being.
