The Opportunity

The Associate Director of Integrated Student Services provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for a coordinated, student-centered service office that integrates academic, administrative, and co-curricular support. This role is responsible for enhancing the student experience through cross-functional collaboration, data-informed decision-making, and continuous improvement of service delivery across the student lifecycle.

Working collaboratively with the Associate Dean of Student Support and Advising, the Associate Director of Integrated Student Services must have a broad understanding and in-depth knowledge of all aspects of student business services, primarily integrated cross-functional service in the areas of registration/enrollment, student records, financial aid, billing and payments, and financial literacy.

Key Job Functions

  • Lead the Integrated Student Service office with the ongoing management of a dynamic, fast-paced, and multi-functional student support office.

  • Serve students, families, and staff with complex issues, ensuring proper resolution is reached.

  • Handle all complex or escalated student needs with professionalism, discretion, and care.

  • Maintain all records and training materials, keeping them up to date and easily accessible to staff.

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute staff trainings; maintain a training schedule with the Integrated Student Service Counselors, and in conjunction with partner offices as determined necessary.

  • Ensure that all student-facing resources including the ERNIE pages, external website, and published materials are always accurate and up-to-date.

  • Maintain reports and dashboards to track metrics, assess, and monitor trends to improve processes and student satisfaction.

  • Test and validate new processes, system changes and other changes that impact the department.

  • Provide ideas on new processes or changes to existing processes to provide improved customer service and staff/department efficiency.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the supervision, leadership, coaching, and mentoring of Integrated Student Service Counselors and student peer mentors.

  • Responsible for conducting mid-year and annual performance evaluations.

  • Provide oversight to staff and ensure they follow the best practices in customer service delivery; serve as a mentor and exemplify excellent customer service.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position isup to $65,000. The final offer will consider the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience, along with applicable state regulations, internal equity, and business needs.

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Strong analytical skills with in-depth knowledge of information systems.

  • Technical proficiency in multiple systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Office applications, Salesforce, and Campus Solutions

  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and apply insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

  • Demonstrated supervisory experience, including mentoring and team development.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, administrators, and partner offices.

Required Minimum Work Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related professional experience.

  • Experience in higher education environments required.
