QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Machine Operator at a company in Madison, WI. This is a potential to hire position for all shifts. Apply now! Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Set-up, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce thermoformed parts to specification - Machine readiness - inspect machinery, equipment and tooling prior to set-up; identify issues which adversely affect product requirements - Identify nonconforming materials/products and work with shift leader for resolution - Ensure part quality meets established standards and follow Good Manufacturing Practices - Complete all shift documentation/paperwork - Shift hand-off: go over job status and updates with incoming shift - Participate in safety programs, follow all established safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE Requirements for Machine Operator: - One year manufacturing or related experience - Mechanical aptitude - Ability to read, write and speak English to meet training, safety and quality requirements - Basic math skills - Computer and software skills - Lift up to 10 lbs continuously (cases of product and hand tools) - Lift 11-30 lbs regularly (3-4 times per shift) - Lift 31-50 lbs occasionally (1-2 lbs per shift) - Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist and stand for long periods of time - Ability to work in warm environments QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
