The Summary
The North America Transportation Associate supports transportation execution, customer logistics, and shipment visibility across the region. The role collaborates with business units, customer service, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure timely, accurate delivery performance. Responsibilities include tracking shipments, resolving exceptions, managing returns inquiries, reviewing freight invoices, and providing data-driven insights to support operational excellence.
Responsibilities
* Use ERP and transportation systems to track shipments, generate reports, and monitor delivery performance metrics.
* Respond to inquiries from customers, vendors, finance, and internal stakeholders via email and phone.
* Investigate customer complaints and follow through to resolution.
* Participate in regular meetings with business units to strengthen communication and alignment.
* Review domestic and international freight invoices to ensure accuracy.
* Monitor incoming product returns and serve as the primary contact for related questions.
* Collaborate with on-site teams to support logistics initiatives and improvement projects.
* Coordinate with shipping and receiving facilities to help ensure on-time delivery.

* Communicate clearly in verbal and written formats with cross-functional partners.

Education and Work Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
* 0-2 years of relevant experience; internships or work experience in logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing environments preferred.
* Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn ERP and transportation systems.
Education and Work Preferences
* Experience in distribution or transportation operations.
* Familiarity with shipment tracking, logistics metrics, or freight invoice review.
* Exposure to cross-functional collaboration or customer-facing roles.

* The anticipated base pay range for this position is $55,000- $65,000 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.
