Sr. Associate of Prospect Research and Management Job Responsibilities:
- Participates in developing and executing best practices for using the CRM to track the development of the donor relationship through the entire solicitation cycle, ensuring that prospect information is consistent and in alignment with Foundation policies.
- Updates and maintains prospect CRM records and files, emphasizing timely maintenance of accurate database records.
- Develops and maintains prospect and gift reports such as portfolio reports, campaign progress reports, marketing reports, fundraiser performance reports, and others to be identified.
- Provides oversight and documentation of key processes and procedures related to data management and assists in training as needed.
- Collaborates in portfolio and campaign review meetings with the front-line fundraisers to analyze and refine portfolios and provide actionable recommendations for prospect strategies. Help to articulate and document specific steps to execute strategies.
- Creates queries and dashboards to disseminate prospect management reports to development officers and leadership on a regular basis to assist in tracking, managing, and executing solicitations in support of fundraising goals. Use the CRM as well as PowerBI and other tools to distill and present complex prospect information.
- Compiles donor lists for appeals, donor stewardship, invitation lists for events, and targeted marketing lists.
- Works with the Foundation colleagues to refine, document, and communicate key policies, and procedures for efficiently tracking donors and prospects using industry best practices.
- Uses prospect research and screening tools to conduct basic prospect research supporting donor solicitation for major and planned giving and events.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 4 years experience in Prospect Development, Data Management, and Fundraising
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of fundraising principles and strategies Prospect Research experience Solid understanding of data hygiene/reporting/analysis Strong communication & collaboration skills
