Job Description

TheCo-brand business development team forms a critical partof theCo-brand team, as part of theNA & Global Co-brandCoE.

Our team's mission is to winnewco-brand businessglobally.The team is engaged across multiple functions within the Visaglobalorganization to bring thevery bestof Visa'sexpertiseand assets to our clients, earning well-qualified wins to drive revenue growth while building trust and growing engagement and satisfaction among teammates,partnersand clients.

TheDirector,GlobalCo-BrandBusiness DevelopmentCoE isresponsible for leading and executing a Co-brand and broader partnership development strategy formarkets globally. This role requires leadership,visionand creativity to develop the Co-brand strategy, drive the expansion of Visa products and solutions, andleadthe overall commercialization of Visa's business developmentobjectives.

This role will report directly to theSenior Director,Head ofCo-BrandBusinessDevelopmentThisrole will collaborate with key executive leadership across Visain multiple markets,such as sales leaders, issuer account leaders,finance, legal,marketing, technology, customer support, and product teams. Externally, this role will collaborate with senior executivesat merchants,issuersand consultantstobestnavigate the sales process to closure and help ensure a successful launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development and owndeals end-to-endfor high priority co-brand opportunitiesgloballyincludingrenewals,net newopportunities, and takeaway engagements.
  • Drive pitch and proposal development and lead external discussions and negotiations withinternal stakeholders andthe client to secure new business.
  • Drive cross-functional discussions with the relevant stakeholders to construct Visa's value story and lead internal alignment.
  • Lead strategic initiatives that define Visa's long-term approach and demonstrate thought leadership to our partners.
  • Serve as internal and external thought leader responsible for communicating Visa's Co-brand and partnership vision,strategyand perspective within a rapidly evolving industry.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD

Business Development and Partnerships Experience - Proven depth of experience in driving client growth and winning new business. Experience selling ideas and solutions to senior management based on client priorities and needs. Proven ability to manage a pipeline, structure a deal, negotiate business agreements and drive commercial results. Co-Brand experience is a plus, particularly across international markets.

Collaboration and Relationship Building - Demonstrated experience building and leveraging strong relationships within Visa and client organizations at multiple levels.

Exceptional Leadership - Strong executive presence and experience leading cross-functional teams to promote a shared vision and deliver as a single team. Inclusive leader invested in developing and growing talent.

Excellent Communicator - Superb ability to influence and collaborate at all levels, ability to articulate strategic concepts through exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Drive for Results - Strong project management skills with ability to deliver tangible business results.

Proactive/Self Starter - Willing and able to take on new challenges and able to work through ambiguity.

Strong Strategic thinker - Ability to challenge the status quo and drive transformational ideas from conceptualization to implementation.

Analytical - ability to clarify assessment needs and perform rigorous analysis to support project objectives

Global experience working across multiple markets, particularly in the co-brand space.

Payments industry experience with a strong partnership focus.

Co-brand issuer and/or merchant experience managing a co brand portfolio P&L.

Fluent in co-brand business development and/or program management best practices along with implications for issuers, networks and merchants.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Fluent in English, additional language preferred

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 151,600 to 285,600 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
