About

As a SHAWOOD Customer Experience Ambassador, you will play a vital role in enhancing the homebuying journey and driving referral-based growth. By localizing key customer touchpoints inspired by SHAWOOD's Japanese heritage, you'll support the sales team in delivering a seamless and emotionally resonant experience. You will also lead the planning and execution of strategic sales events, especially during high-traffic periods such as New Community Openings (NCOs), to attract and engage prospective buyers. Through data analysis, performance tracking, and buyer persona alignment, you'll transform insights into actionable strategies that elevate client satisfaction, conversion, and long-term brand loyalty.

Essential Functions

Curate & Execute Signature Buyer Touchpoints

* Design and lead meaningful buyer experiences across key milestones including contract signing, groundbreaking, frame walk, and move-in.
* Capture and share emotional moments through photos and videos that deepen buyer connection and reinforce brand affinity.
* Coordinate scheduling of all touchpoints in collaboration with the Concierge Team, ensuring timely, consistent engagement.
* Drive referral opportunities by fostering memorable, trust-building interactions throughout the buyer journey.

Plan & Activate Sales Events

* Support the onsite sales team before and after New Community Openings (NCOs) and during high-traffic periods at SHAWOOD Experience Centers.
* Plan, promote, and execute impactful sales events such as frame walks, home celebrations, and other engagement-driven activations.
* Maintain a forward-looking event calendar, sharing at least 90 days in advance with internal teams to ensure alignment and support.

Analyze & Optimize Sales Effectiveness

* Track and report key performance indicators on a weekly and monthly basis, including conversion rates, option selection trends, and buyer engagement data.
* Update and analyze event follow-up status, capturing learnings and wins across divisions.
* Compare homeowner profiles to target personas developed prior to NCOs to identify alignment and optimization opportunities.
* Document and share success stories and sales insights to support continuous improvement across SHAWOOD divisions.

Support Integrated Sales & Marketing Efforts

* Partner with the online sales team to respond to inquiries and re-engage prospective buyers through proactive outreach.
* Assist the onsite team in delivering high-touch experiences at model homes and Experience Centers, especially during peak seasons and NCO periods.
* Act as a SHAWOOD brand steward, confidently educating prospects about the brand's value, design philosophy, and elevated homebuying experience.

Qualifications

* Real Estate licensed in CA
* 3 years of relevant experience in homebuilding or real estate sales and marketing background

* Drive measurable sales impact through elevated events and interactions that drive client satisfaction, repeat engagement, and referral-based growth in the community and with the brand.

Work Environment & Conditions

* This role is based primarily in SHAWOOD model homes and showrooms within assigned communities across Northern and Southern California.
* Requires flexibility to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, in varying weather conditions.
* Availability on weekends and holidays is essential to support sales events and community engagement during peak traffic periods.

Physical Expectations

* This is an active, on-site role that involves frequent walking, standing, and stair climbing within and around model homes and property sites.
* Must be able to operate standard office and computer equipment, and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
* Clear verbal communication and auditory capability are necessary to engage with customers and team members effectively.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $68,000-$82,000
  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
  • Bonus Type: Quarterly Production
