To be considered for this position, you must:



  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this role
  • Be able to work the schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM


**What You'll Do:**

As a key member of the administrative team, you will be instrumental in supporting the daily operations of the outpatient clinical setting. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Serving as the primary point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations, and facilitating check-in and check-out processes.
  • Warmly greeting and welcoming patients, providing initial assistance with appointments, payments, and scheduling inquiries.
  • Efficiently managing a multi-line phone system, screening and routing calls, and taking accurate messages for clinical staff and providers.
  • Ensuring all necessary patient verifications and authorizations are complete prior to appointments.
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers to align on scheduling preferences and effectively respond to urgent patient needs.
  • Offering comprehensive patient support by utilizing reference documents and tools to address non-clinical inquiries and messages, escalating as necessary.
  • Performing diverse administrative tasks, including maintaining information and paging directory databases, and processing internal forms.
  • Mastering the use of telephone systems and electronic medical records systems to execute daily job functions.
  • Consistently meeting and exceeding organizational and departmental service standards.
  • Managing and distributing incoming faxes, mail, and meticulously filing clinic-specific documentation.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**



  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in scheduling surgeries in a clinical environment
  • Proficiency in medical terminology.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems and software relevant to administrative functions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, appropriate for a professional healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service, effectively solve problems, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Windows-based office software, computers, and operating systems.
  • Adeptness at adjusting communication styles to suit the needs and understanding level of diverse individuals.
  • The ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in stressful situations.


The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35.81 to $38.96 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
