Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Management Lead for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves managing diverse administrative functions for a large, complex technology department. The ideal candidate will lead business management routines, including financial management, workforce planning, and strategic support for technology executives to ensure alignment with business objectives. This position requires a thorough knowledge of the business unit's functional area, general bank policies, and financial practices. Responsibilities: Lead business management functions including management routines, financial management, event management, employee engagement, and workforce planning Manage staffing routines and oversight for senior leadership Prepare technology executives for engagements with peers, senior leaders, and business partners Coordinate between technology teams to ensure alignment with objectives and manage routines and requests Manage and drive the production of consistent and appropriate documentation for routines Support executives in managing their BAU expenses and governing their initiative portfolio Partner with executives and the business to deliver a strategic agenda, monitor performance, and manage costs Drive strategies to effectively manage spend, ensuring the proper mix of consulting to full-time staff Develop robust and consistent communication and engagement plans Understand the linkage of programs and projects to business strategy and ensure roadmaps are translated into robust delivery milestones Facilitate headcount planning through onboarding Requirements: 3+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis Advanced/Expert MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint Prior experience handling multiple facets of an end-to-end business Excellent communication, influencing, and facilitation skills, including the ability to make effective presentations Must be analytical, organized, and have the ability to manage competing priorities Strong interpersonal skills and extremely organized with excellent time management skills Experience in Financial Management, Resource Management, and Project Management Proven skills in Stakeholder Management and Analytical Thinking Desired skills: Business Acumen Risk Management Experience with Agile Practices Data Management Pay range: $48.37 - $56.37 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
