The selected candidate must be within a commutable distance or willing to relocate (relocation package is available for those that qualify). General Summary of Job Responsibilities
The Learning & Development (L&D) team is seeking a highly skilled Technical Instructor to support critical operational training across the organization. This role is essential for maintaining compliance, ensuring workforce readiness, and upholding the highest standards of operational safety-particularly within the Working Clearance program and associated requalification requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, hands-on plant experience, and proficiency with the control of hazardous energy (eSOMs or Lockout/Tagout). These capabilities are vital for sustaining safe operations and enabling L&D to deliver high-quality, accurate, and compliant technical training. The successful candidate will become a SME in eSOMS Working Clearance by working closely with Generation Operations business partners, doing go-and-sees and job shadowing. This instructor will not only own the Working Clearance training program for Learning and Development but will also help support the Generation Technical Training team's large portfolio of offerings that includes many electrical and mechanical offerings.
