Lock Box Extractor - 1st Shift

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Lock Box Extractor for an on-site position with a Major Financial Institution located in Brooklyn, OH. This is a 4+ month contract opportunity.

Compensation: $19.00 per hour.

Shift: 1st shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Under direct supervision, this role accelerates the receipt and processing of client remittance data, prepares and processes checks for clearing in line with standard bank operating procedures, and prepares information for clients and service partners according to specified procedures and instructions. This position operates in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, prepare and process remittances and invoice data
• Open mail and extract paper invoices/payments; sort and prepare batches for processing
• Follow established corporate and department policies and procedures
• Cross training in other functional areas is required to maintain coverage in critical department functions, e.g., mail sort, keying, reassociation, and data entry
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and follow instructions, eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity and the ability to operate general office equipment
• Flexible, able to work additional hours as needed
• Can effectively cope with change; is cool under pressure; can handle stress; is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
• Meets production and accuracy standards within 90 days of completion of training
• Works independently within scope of job function
• Requires working in a fast paced, deadline-oriented production environment
• Meets deadlines, demonstrates detail orientation, shows work commitment, and manages stress
• Prioritizes work and focuses effectively
• Seeks and accepts feedback

Desired skills:

• Prior lockbox, item processing, or equivalent experience
• 10-key skills with PC/keyboard experience
