Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Java Developer for a hybrid (3 days/week onsite) contract to hire opportunity with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This role involves designing, developing, and enhancing Java-based backend services and REST APIs within an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with product owners and scrum masters, contribute to architectural discussions, and work closely with front-end teams consuming the APIs. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and enhance Java-based backend services and REST APIs Collaborate with product owners, scrum masters, and business SMEs during sprint ceremonies Perform code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and ensure best practices Debug production issues and participate in on-call rotation (if applicable) Write automated unit tests, integrate with CI/CD pipelines, and maintain documentation Work closely with front-end teams consuming the APIs Requirements: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in automation development Strong proficiency in Core Java programming, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot Experience with front-end technologies such as AngularJS Advanced expertise in relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and data modeling Experience with RESTful APIs and enterprise integration patterns Experience with Agile/scrum methodologies Familiarity with Jira Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Desired skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Experience on the WorkFusion platform Practical experience in machine learning, including model development and deployment using Python Experience with Cloud-based infrastructure Knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases (performance optimization and complex queries) Knowledge and/or experience handling certificates Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
