Overview

The intern will primarily assist the assigned department with a variety of duties, ranging from completing administrative tasks to supporting/continuing implementation of existing programs and systems, to shadowing team members in strategic discussions. The intern will be involved in project-based work that will allow them the opportunity to learn in a corporate environment at a pharmaceutical company. In general, the intern will be encouraged and expected to offer recommendations for process improvements/enhancements on all matters. The intern, in collaboration with SKLSI team members, will develop goals at the beginning of the internship. The intern will take on an active support role and should be comfortable asking questions and taking initiative to best enhance their contributions to SKLSI and their own educational experience. Assignment of responsibilities will be commensurate with demonstrated abilities, and where possible, will be aligned with the intern's goals. This is a paid internship located at the Paramus, NJ facility.



Responsibilities

    Candidate will be exposed to areas across Commercial Operations including the Fleet Program, Sample Program, Field Applications and the Incentive Compensation program data and quality control procedures.
  • Candidate will be exposed to and learn about the general administration of the Fleet Vehicle Program.
  • Investigate Fleet Inquiries from the Field Sales Team regarding their fleet vehicles
  • Collaborate with Fleet Vendor on inquiries
  • Review vehicle details, run & review Fleet Reports in the portal in preparation for management reporting
  • Assist in the 2027 vehicle ordering process
  • Candidate will be exposed to and learn about the general administration of the Xcopri Sampling Program.
  • Respond to Sample Inquiries from the Field Sales Team regarding their Sample Requests
  • Investigate Sample Orders & status in Veeva CRM Application
  • Participate in Sample Program Meetings with the sample vendor
  • Candidate will be exposed to COEPilot Commercial PMO Portal and learn about how to manage all facets of a Commercial Project.
  • Creation of a project dashboard
  • Assigning users to a project
  • Creating & maintaining a project plan
  • Candidate will be exposed to the administration incentive compensation program, limited to the following areas:
  • Foundations of program design and goal setting
  • Understanding of integrated prescription data sources and inclusion in ongoing processing
  • Weekly plan monitoring and quality control (QC) procedures that ensure accurate reporting of performance
  • Candidate will be exposed to business applications managed by Field Operations in support of the SKLSI Field Teams:
  • Veeva CRM application
  • SKripts BI Tool
  • SK Intelligence & Reporting Analytics
  • Axtria-SalesIQ
  • Candidate will be involved with the submission, design, testing and implementation of application enhancements
  • Candidate will be tasked with evaluating and responding to business application data or process inquiries submitted by members of the Field Teams
  • Candidate may be tasked with developing parallel QC processes in support of ensuring the integrity of downstream data reporting to the Field Teams.

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in the following disciplines:

  • Finance/Accounting
  • Marketing
  • Computer Science/Business Analytics
  • Strong organization skills
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic
  • Self-motivated and willing to work independently
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Flexible and display a willingness & enthusiasm to learn
  • Proficient in:
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly organized with strong focus on accuracy
  • Ability to work in a small entrepreneurial company
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong desire to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced biotech organization
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
