Survey Crew Chief

V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Survey Crew Chief for our Columbus, OH office, where you will contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine our built and natural world.

Charting plans that create tomorrow's places, you'll create impact that lasts. And, as part of our Survey team, you will collaborate with 450+ designers, technicians, engineers, and scientists to make meaningful, effective change across North America.

Here's what you'll do:

• Manage and perform field survey crew day-to-day operations for Alta, Boundary, Topographic, Route, Residential, and Construction surveys.
• Maintain schedule and budget requirements of assigned tasks.
• May perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

We're looking for:

• 3+ years of field surveying experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trimble robotic total station and Trimble GPS experience is preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires basic math skills.
• Ability to work as a one-person survey crew.
• Possess and maintain a current driver's license in good standing.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability and willingness to travel for short periods of time.
• Software skills required in Microsoft Outlook, Internet Explorer, Word, and Trimble Business Center (TBC). Civil 3D experience is a plus, but is not required.
