Summary
We have a current opportunity for an
Optical Engineer located at our facility in Marlborough, MA. The Optical Engineer is a multifaceted role working with the engineering team to implement and test visible and SWIR optics-based system components and test systems for Redwire's Star Tracker and Camera systems. You will be directly involved in the implementation of optical systems for space-based applications as well as the specification, design, and implementation of tests for said systems. This work will include interacting with high performance lenses, stray-light baffling systems, and custom test facilities for Redwire star trackers and camera applications. Test involves both the qualification and acceptance test needs to ensure the design meets specifications and manufacturing performance metrics. In this role, you will be directly interfacing with customers to present and defend our optics solutions and their performance in meeting mission requirements.
