Position Overview

We are looking for a seasonedFinancial Data Analyst to play a critical role in strengthening our financial reporting and planning infrastructure. This position will oversee key SAP reporting assets, support budgeting and consolidation activities, and drive system enhancements that improve data accuracy and operational efficiency. Success in this role requires deep SAP FI/CO knowledge, strong analytical capability, and the ability to bridge Finance and IT to deliver scalable financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Data Governance
  • Develop, manage, and optimize financial reports and dashboards using SAP BusinessObjects and SAP BW to support both internal stakeholders and external reporting needs.

  • Oversee SAP Business Warehouse and BusinessObjects platforms to maintain high standards of data integrity, reliability, and system performance.

  • Execute data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes using Data Manager packages and conversion files to move data from SAP BW into planning and consolidation platforms.

Planning, Forecasting & Consolidation
  • Administer and enhance SAP BPC and Workday Adaptive Planning environments, including model design, dimension management, business rules configuration, and system integrations.

  • Provide support throughout budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation cycles to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial results.

  • Monitor, validate, and reconcile data flows between SAP, Workday Adaptive Planning, and consolidation applications.

Systems Integration & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain and improve system integrations between SAP and Workday, particularly in areas related to workforce planning, compensation, and HR-driven financial data.

  • Collaborate with Finance teams to evaluate existing workflows, identify automation and efficiency opportunities, and implement system enhancements aligned with best practices.

  • Participate in or lead system deployments, upgrades, enhancements, and user acceptance testing activities.

Business Partnership & End-User Support
  • Act as a key liaison between Finance and IT to ensure financial systems operate effectively, securely, and in compliance with internal control standards.

  • Deliver user support, troubleshooting assistance, and training for SAP EPM add-ins, planning and consolidation applications, and BusinessObjects reporting tools.

  • Contribute to ad hoc reporting requests, financial analyses, and special initiatives as required.

Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with SAP FI/CO modules.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end financial processes, including A2R, R2R, P2P, and I2C cycles.

  • Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, data analytics, and financial systems management.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate actionable insights.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and organizational levels.

  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
