Clinical Research Coordinator Anesthesia and Perioperative Care Part Time 88317BR Job Summary This is a new clinical research coordinator posting. UCSF is one of the sites in this multicenter prospective study called "THRIVE". The purpose of this research study is comparing the patient experiences of two common types of anesthesia (total intravenous anesthesia with propofol versus a volatile anesthetic). The study is collecting electronic health record data and gathering data using wearable devices and smartphone applications. In conjunction with the primary investigator, the role of the clinical research coordinator is to help with recruitment and consent of new patients, provide educational materials to study patients and help with data collection for up to 365 days after surgery. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $34.32 - $55.19 (Hourly Rate). RCS functions under the guidance of the Department of Anesthesia in the School of Medicine (SOM) at UCSF; one of the world's leading centers of health sciences, research, patient care, and education. The primary focus of ZSFG Respiratory Care Service is in critical and acute care and features an expanded scope of practice. The department has a growing presence in outpatient clinics and community services. Our Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCPs) serve as consultants to nursing, faculty, and all other members of the healthcare team. Required Qualifications
