Job Summary:

The Messer Operations Network includes our Operational Technology (OT) network and all Industrial Control System (ICS) devices attached to that network. The MON Administrator is responsible for both the maintenance and continuous improvement to the security of this environment, along with providing governance for both North and South America.

Principal Responsibilities:

* Deploy, monitor, backup, and maintain virtualized central MON infrastructure hosting various critical services, including PC and Server components and network switches, and oversight of related security devices.

* Support new ICS field deployments to include requirement gathering, integration with Active Directory, troubleshooting, and system hardening.

* Identify and communicate MON requirements to Messer-internal and provider network teams, and ensure offered solutions are compliant.

* Primary contact for the MON environment and related controls for product sales teams, customer representatives, and potential vendors of related products.

* Author and distribute policy and procedure documentation.

o Work with various teams to drive compliance and provide training.

* Expand the scope of the MON environment to encompass new types of OT sites within Messer.

* Monitor for emerging security threats that could pose a risk to the MON environment, while investigating new technology and tools to reduce the risk of a network security event.

Required Skills

* Technical familiarity with:

o Microsoft Active Directory Administration

o Networking concepts and hardware

o Microsoft Windows Support - Server and Workstation

o Linux

o General PC and Server troubleshooting

* Strong communications and visible leadership skills.

* Ability to influence and build strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the organization.

* Ability to think strategically, challenge the status quo and improve existing processes/ systems.

* Strong analytical and organizational skills

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor of Information Technology degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience with information security and infrastructure design. Non degreed candidates with 10 plus years of experience in this field will be considered.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Industrial Control System Security (ICS) experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
