Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite for our client in Alpharetta, GA Interested?

  • Client is seeking a highly and detail-oriented US import Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team.
  • Ensure compliance with all import/export regulations, customs laws, and trade policies.
  • Review and validate import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
  • Classify goods using HS (Harmonized System) codes and ensure correct duty/tax calculation.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies for smooth clearance.
  • Monitor changes in international trade regulations and update internal policies accordingly.
  • Conduct internal import compliance audits and maintain proper documentation records.
  • Support supply chain and procurement teams on import regulations and risk management.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $ 33.01/hr

Hours: 40 hours/week (1st shift)

Length: Temporary (7 months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with US import Trade Compliance Specialist
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the following
  1. HTS classification
  2. USMCA certifications and regulations
  3. U.S. Customs procedures
  4. U.S. Customs entry writing
  5. In bond transportation
  6. Foreign Trade Zones
  7. Bonded Warehouse
  8. Partner Governing Agency reporting
  9. Any Data Analytics.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn custom software.
  • Proficient to high level skill in MS Excel.
  • Proficiency in English require with Spanish proficiency being
