Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Location: Hunt Valley, MD

Shift: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

6 month contract to potential permanent

Hourly Rate: $22/hr

Job Summary:

Shipping and receiving professionals manage the flow of goods, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of products while maintaining inventory and coordinating with logistics teams.

Job Description:

• Shipping and receiving roles involve a variety of tasks to ensure smooth warehouse and logistics operations.
• Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage.
• Verify items against purchase orders and packing lists, and document any discrepancies.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and arranging transportation. Ensure timely dispatch and follow up on delays or issues.
• Track, update, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Conduct regular stock counts and organize items for easy retrieval.
• Must have experience with hand-held devices and cycle counts.
• Forklift experience a plus but not required.
