Job Summary:
The WorkDay Integrations Developer I provides analysis and technical support, and maintenance of the software used to support clinical and business processes. This position requires an in-depth understanding of organizational processes and is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions that support our healthcare business and clinical applications. This position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between various healthcare systems. Responsibilities include working with end-users, vendors and internal Information Technology technical staff supporting business/clinical processes.
The Integrations Developer I may be required to provide support coverage 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The ability and means to regularly travel throughout the UVM Health Network may be required.
Education:
* A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is strongly preferred.
Experience:
* Recommend: 0-2 years' experience with data integration and/or reporting.
* Alternatively: 1-2+ years of relevant operational experience in lieu of direct system experience.
Knowledge/Special Skills:
* Basic understanding of integration technologies, tools, and methodologies, including data
exchange standards and protocols.
* Basic proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
* Familiarity with common data formats like JSON, XML, and CSV.
* Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases for querying and manipulating data, if
necessary for the areas in which the team supports.
* Basic knowledge of version control.
* Ability to debug basic integration issues and errors.
* Knowledge of integration testing techniques, such as unit testing, end-to-end testing, and
regression testing.
* Familiarity with basic concepts in cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
* Ability to support integration tasks with supervision.
* Ability to follow coding standards and integration best practices.

* Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
if position is Workday focused development, the following additional skills/knowledge could
include:
* Basic understanding of Object Management Systems (OMS) and Object Oriented Programming
(OOP).
* Basic understanding of Workday's Integration Cloud Platform (API, Workday Cloud Connect
Packages and Connectors, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio).
* Has used Workday Connect Packages or Standard Workday reports or Workday Report Writer to
produce simple output like CSV and XML.
* Familiarity with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) like Eclipse or the Workday Studio
Workday Studio.
* Basic understanding of XSLT and XML.
* Ability to identify and troubleshoot Workday security impacts on calculated fields, custom reports
and integrations.
