JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Part-Time Staff Support - ReCET & PNGE Program (20 hrs/week) I am seeking a part-time staff member to provide administrative and communications support for two units: the Research Center for Energy Transition (ReCET) and the Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering (PNGE) program. The position is expected to require approximately 10 hours per week dedicated to each area. Fewer timing commitments can be negotiated. Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will assist with communications and outreach, including preparing promotional materials, newsletters, social media content, and program announcements for both ReCET and PNGE. They will also support general administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, event coordination, and maintaining program records. Additional responsibilities may include assisting the Program Chair and Center Director with logistics related to faculty searches, industry partnerships, alumni engagement, and student recruitment activities. The candidate will also be expected to participate in outreach activities, such as representing the programs at events, engaging with prospective students and industry partners, and supporting initiatives aimed at broadening awareness of ReCET and PNGE. Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Familiarity with higher education, engineering programs, or energy-related fields is a plus but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common communication/design tools (e.g., Canva, Mailchimp, or similar) is preferred.
