GEL Laboratories, LLC, an affiliate of The GEL Group, Inc., is looking for a skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our team of professionals in our Charleston, SC office possessing an understanding of laboratory protocols and procedures. You will work alongside experienced scientists performing radiochemical sample preparation, analytical testing, and data review using established laboratory methods. This position is ideal for early-career scientists who want to apply their chemistry or science degree in a professional laboratory environment supporting nuclear programs and environmental monitoring projects across the United States and internationally. The Laboratory Analyst will work closely with team members to meet productivity and quality goals with minimal supervision. This position focuses on sample preparation and analytical testing. As you gain experience, you will be cross trained in additional methods, providing opportunities to expand your technical expertise. The successful candidate will be eager to learn, a good communicator, attentive to detail, and meticulous in conducting tests efficiently while controlling potential contamination.
