Copper River Technologies is seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist to support operations at the Pentagon Customer Assistance Center (PCAC) located within the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. The PCAC, operating under the Pentagon Building Management Office (PBMO), serves as a primary point of contact for Pentagon employees and visitors, assisting more than 50,000 customers since its establishment in 2010.

The Customer Service Specialist plays a critical front-facing role, providing walk-in and telephone support to customers seeking information and services from organizations within the Pentagon. This position primarily supports the WHS Hoteling Station while also providing front desk support for PCAC operations. The role requires exceptional professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to assist a diverse customer base in a high-visibility environment where first impressions are essential.

This position is on-site at the Pentagon.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):



  • Provide front desk and telephone support to Pentagon employees, tenants, and visitors.
  • Manage hoteling station reservations for CAC-holding visitors and assist with workspace access and technology guidance.
  • Assist customers with navigating Pentagon services, amenities, and organizational resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using government systems such as Maximo.
  • Support scheduling and coordination of special events, permits, and facility reservations.
  • Escort authorized visitors to designated areas such as the Hall of Heroes media room and ensure proper use of facilities.
  • Maintain bulletin boards, documentation, and customer communications in accordance with established procedures.
  • Coordinate with technical support teams to resolve equipment or technology issues.


Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:



  • Clearance:

    • Active Public Trust Clearance required




  • Education:

    • High School Diploma or GED required




  • Required Experience and Skills:

    • Minimum three (3) years of customer service experience, preferably supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or similar government organizations




  • Skills & Competencies


    • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Familiarity with the rank structure and precedence of U.S. military services and DoD senior leadership.
    • Ability to interact professionally with government personnel and senior leadership.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and CAC-enabled government systems.
    • Ability to learn and navigate the Pentagon Reservation within 60 days of hire.
