Information Assurance Engineer

The Opportunity:

Provide information assurance engineering support for a DoD Strategic Training Enterprise Network. Develop and implement security solutions for various network and server hardware virtual environments, including VDI and LAN/WAN networks. Support requirements development and analysis, technical development, and operational acceptance testing and training employment of complex Joint missile and space defense virtualized training tools, including Joint Integrated Missile Defense Training System (JIMDTS). Maintain an awareness of market and technology trends to bring best of breed solutions to the client while supporting and maintaining VMware Vsphere, ESXi, and VMware Horizon View in a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). Achieve and maintain risk management framework (RMF) accreditations for multiple projects. Evaluate and document DoD security policy compliance and review each project's security posture in regard to DoD information assurance vulnerability alerts (IAVAs), information assurance vulnerability management (IAVM), and security technical implementation guides (STIGs). Develop RMF packages and supporting artifacts and coordinate with each project's ISSM, SCAR, and AO to facilitate project accreditation.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with accreditation of DoD projects, including the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP)

  • 1+ years of experience with RMF

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, and VMware ESXI

  • Knowledge of multi-domain architectures, including data center, WAN, and LAN

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or Cybersecurity, or 5+ years of experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or Cybersecurity in lieu of degree

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with a broad spectrum of Joint military organizations and missions to accurately comprehend Joint operations

  • Experience with missile and space operations training in a virtualized and LVC environment

  • Experience in operational management or engineering for USSTRATCOM Strategic Training Enterprise Network

  • Knowledge of SolarWinds Orion, Cisco ASA, VMware vSphere or vRealize Suites, Powershell or PowerCLI, and Windows Server 2016

  • Master's degree in CS, Engineering, or Cybersecurity

  • CISSP Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
