As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain an orderly environment while delivering friendly, professional customer service. You will conduct routine foot and bicycle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with team members and site contacts. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and/or site-specific policies, including support during emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter using foot and/or vehicle patrol as directed.
• Monitor for and help to deter unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations; take appropriate action consistent with post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to site leadership and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Complete detailed shift activity reports and incident documentation; communicate pertinent information during shift changes and coordinate with site contacts regarding security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Being able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Having a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
