Position Responsibilities

The Deltek Sr. Principal Partner Account Executive drives partner success by building strong relationships, enabling revenue growth, and ensuring disciplined operational execution across Deltek's partner ecosystem. This role serves as the primary bridge between Deltek's direct teams and solution partners, supporting forecasting rigor, program governance, and partner business planning.Top performers consistently demonstrate strategic thinking, operational excellence, and partnerfirst leadership.Core Responsibilities: 1. Partner Relationship Management

Act as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, ensuring access, alignment, and effective engagement with Deltek. Proactively manage communications, resolve operational issues, and coordinate execution of joint strategies.

Builds trust through deep partner empathy, anticipates needs, and communicates confidently with partner executives.

2. Sales & Forecasting

Ensure accurate weekly forecasts, maintain pipeline hygiene, and support partners in using Deltek forecasting tools and the Partner Portal. Provide visibility into pipeline health and execution.

Demonstrates strong operational discipline, analyzes pipeline trends to prevent risk, and translates complex data into clear actions.

3. Business Planning & QBRs

Lead annual and quarterly partner business planning aligned to goals, metrics, and growth priorities. Own QBR planning, facilitation, and followthrough, including ARR/MRR and geo/product analysis.

4. Partner Enablement & Readiness

Collaborate with enablement, marketing, and crossfunctional teams to ensure partners meet readiness and ROE requirements. Support product training, launches, sales plays, and operational readiness.

5. CrossFunctional Collaboration

Work closely with sales, GTM, enablement, professional services, marketing, and partner operations. Resolve or escalate partner issues related to systems, access, or processes.

Acts as an internal influencer and bridge builder, aligning teams and navigating resources to deliver a consistent partner experience.

6. Governance & Program Integrity

Ensure compliance with partner program rules, ROE policies, and approved tools. Maintain clear documentation of partner activity, plans, and action items.

Qualifications


  • 3+ years of Partner Management Experience
  • 2+ year of SaaS Account Executive Experience
  • ERP & CRM Experience a plus
  • GovCon Industry experience a plus

Compensation Info

The U.S. On-Target-Earnings (OTE) for this position is $200,000.00-$240,000.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
