Summary:

Thales TCT is seeking a technically strong security professional capable of supporting customers across the full lifecycle of technical engagement, including solution design, technical evaluation, and deployment support.

This hybrid role will work closely with sales, engineering, and customers to understand requirements, design appropriate solutions, and ensure successful implementation of Thales TCT technologies. The position requires strong customer-facing communication skills to support both strategic pre-sales engagements and hands-on technical implementation activities when required.

The ideal candidate is comfortable acting as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers evaluate security architectures, conducting proof-of-concepts activities, and assisting with implementation and integration of data protection solutions.

This role provides flexibility to support both technical sales activities and customer deployment efforts depending on business priorities and customer needs.

Qualification Requirements:

Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.

Education:

Bachelors of Science in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. An equivalent combination of education & experience is acceptable.

Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in Sales Engineering, Professional Services or security consulting
  • Experience supporting Federal Civilian customers
  • Hands on experience with one or more of :

    • PKI/ HSM
    • Encryption & Key Management
    • Authentication (OTP, PKI, AD integration)
    • Virtualization / Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google, Openstack)


  • Experience with network security protocols
  • Strong customer-facing skills


Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
  • Demonstrated track record supporting technical products
  • Ability to solve complex technical issues using company portfolio of security products
  • Strong networking background
  • Encryption product experience
  • Security architecture experience
  • Ability to multi-task and work with team to prioritize and meet desired schedule
  • Virtualization platform / Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, OpenStack
  • Strong security-focused knowledge of one or more of the following: Java, Networking, AWS, vSphere, Linux, MS Windows, PKI, SOAP, XML
  • Operating System Administration in Linux, Windows, and UNIX


Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Pre-sales technical support for all Thales TCT hardware and software products supporting both the customer, team, and product management
  • Ability to run POC evaluations from initial meeting concept to implementation
  • Assist sales to identify and qualify all opportunities for assigned strategic accounts and general inquiries
  • Creates and delivers accurate and technically correct sales presentations to potential customers
  • Ability to maintain relationships with technical resources at all levels of customer organization
  • Must be capable of quickly learning new technologies and products
  • Special projects and duties as assigned
  • Support customer implementation activities including installation, configuration and troubleshooting
