Position Summary The Sales Enablement Specialist is a member of the Commercial Sales Operations team responsible for enabling field sales success through operational support, sales enablement, and datadriven insights.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as atriage owner for the Sales Support inbox, including assigning, resolving, and escalating requests from field sales and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate responses
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Own or coown thesales enablement strategyfor Commercial, defining how tools, content, and processes support sales productivity and effectiveness.
  • Align and act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to ensure consistent messaging, a cohesive sales story, and a smooth sales process from lead to order.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for the field sales team on Sales Operations processes, systems, and programs, helping resolve issues and escalating as needed.
  • Manage thesales content repository(e.g., playbooks, presentations, case studies, talk tracks) and ensure that field reps can easily find and use uptodate resources.
  • Standardize and reinforce sales processes through playbooks, SOPs, and job aids, ensuring consistent execution across the field.
  • Coown optimization and adoption of thesales tech stack(CRM, enablement platform, and other sales tools), including shared adminlevel responsibilities with the Sales Performance Manager where appropriate.
  • Partner with the Sales Performance Manager to develop and maintaindashboards and metricsfor sales performance, funnel health, activity/productivity, and tool usage; summarize and communicate insights to Sales leadership.
  • Analyze win/loss, pipeline, activity, and operational data to identify gaps in skills, messaging, and process; recommend training, communications, or process changes to address those gaps.
  • Partner with training/learning teams (including the Commercial Sales Trainer) to shape onboarding and ongoing training content based on observed needs and performance trends, even when not directly building the training content.
  • Participate in and contribute to onboarding presentations for Sales new hires regarding Sales Operations processes, systems, key tools, and where to find critical resources.
  • Assist sales associates with product comparisons, coordinates/matches, general product inquiries, and other operational requests that support the selling process and elevate the customer experience.
  • Maintain and continuously improve Sales Hub (or equivalent) content, ensuring resources are current, accurate, wellorganized, and effectively communicated to the field; schedule and host Sales Hub calls as needed.
  • Support scheduling and tracking of CEUs (Continuing Education Units), ensuring proper documentation and reporting to Sales leadership.
  • Monitor T&E submissions for adherence to policy, provide timely feedback to sales associates, and prepare periodend T&E reporting for Regional Sales Directors.
  • Provide organized, timely, and accurate periodend financial reporting and other operational updates to Sales leadership as requested.
  • Contribute to crossfunctional projects impacting Sales Operations (e.g., system changes, process improvements, SOP creation, user acceptance testing), representing the voice of the field and enablement needs.
  • Maintain an organized repository of Sales Operations documents, SOPs, and reference materials to support consistency and ease of access.
  • Assist with scheduling CEUs (Continuing Education Units - provided by Marketing but scheduled and recorded by Sales Support)
  • Assist sales associates with product comparisons, coordinates/matches, field general product inquiries and other requests as necessary.
  • Assist in maintaining Sales Hub portal information
    • Schedule and operate Sales Hub/Sales Pulse calls
  • All other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial sales operations, sales enablement, customer experience, or related roles in flooring, building materials, or a comparable B2B environment.
  • Experience supporting sales teams with tools, content, and process improvements; prior responsibility for a shared support inbox or ticketing/triage system is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data (pipeline, activity, win/loss, productivity), identify trends, and translate findings into actionable insights or recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and experience working with ERP and CRM systems such as SAP and Salesforce (or similar); familiarity with sales enablement platforms is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain processes, expectations, and insights to both sales and nonsales audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and to influence behavior through data, communication, and service rather than direct authority.
  • Knowledge of commercial flooring products and applications, or willingness to learn quickly.
Language Skills

Must be able to communicate with management, sales force, and customers. Must have excellent telephone etiquette.

Must be professional in all communications.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and area.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel), Outlook, ERP and/or CRM Systems: Salesforce.com, and SAP.
