Description
As a Project Engineer, you will:
- Participates in project engineering tasks involved in the modification of existing
installations of a PC-based software and hardware for the commercial marketplace. This may include onsite travel for installation of software and hardware updates (10- 20% overnight travel depending upon project mix). - May assist in cost estimates, bid preparation and overall project analysis. Interfaces
with clients on particular phases of project. Assists with resolution of client/customer requests, problems, etc. - May provide feedback to software product development regarding regulatory
requirements or product changes. - This position requires self-management of schedules, work priorities, customer
requests, etc. - Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree required. Engineering, computer science, math, or STEM degree
preferred. - General knowledge of Database applications (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft office applications including word processing, spreadsheet
software applications, and presentation software. - Effective cross-discipline communication (ability to work with a variety of staff, both
internal and external, and across multiple functions).'Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload as well as ask questions and seek guidance on work issues. - Ability to travel overnight 10-20% of the time, depending on project mix.
