Primary Duties

At the IDD Education Center, our student associates support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with their academic, independent living, employment, and health and wellness goals. Our Center is currently hiring for student associate positions in the CEES program.

The Collaboration for Employment and Education Synergy (CEES) High School Program is a high school transition program at the University of Cincinnati developed for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities ages 14-21. Student workers support high school students as peer mentors while our students build workplace skills, gain independence, and explore how their interests can be applied in real-world careers. Program hours are Monday- Thursday: 8:00-2:00pm, flexible shifts.

Additional requirements:



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Enrolled at the University of Cincinnati.
  • Enrolled at least part-time (one or more credit hours if at a post-secondary institution), except for summer term, or will be a registered student during the next academic term.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • "Enrollment" shall include:

    • The period between two successive terms for which the student is enrolled.
    • The one "off" term in each academic year in which the student is not enrolled. Student employee status may be retained for one additional term following either graduation or withdrawal from enrollment.



Physical Requirements



    UC is an E-Verify employer.
