Job Description




As a Security Officer - Evening Unarmed Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help identify and report security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, support access control processes, and provide clear, customer-focused communication with tenants, visitors, and site contacts. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, and promptly notify site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance concerns or hazards.
  • Monitor entry points and building activity, verify credentials as required, and help maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and incident logs.
  • Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, communicate observations during shift turnover, and support property management with security-related requests and/or special assignments.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
