As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a financial institution, you will help support a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring assigned areas and conducting routine patrols. You will remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and interior areas, verify identification and/or visitor authorization as required, and report irregular activity per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, customer areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Complete shift documentation and incident reports, communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership, and support site-specific operational needs as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
